Cherry Crunch

 

2 cans cherry pie filling*

2 tsp. lemon juice

1 box cake mix (white or yellow)

1 stick margarine (or butter), melted

1 cup chopped nuts

 

· Spread pie filling in bottom of oblong glass pan.

· Sprinkle lemon juice over pie filling.

· Thoroughly mix cake mix and margarine (or butter) together in a bowl with a fork or pastry blender.

· Crumble mixture evenly over pie filling.

· Sprinkle nuts over top of crumbled mixture.

· Bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.

 

*You can substitute any canned fruit pie filling for the cherry filling (blueberry, apple, etc.)
